MOSES LAKE - Businesses still have a chance to be showcased at the Moses Lake Chamber of Commerce's annual Business Expo later this month.

About 45 to 50 vendors are expected to participate in this year's expo, chamber executive director Debbie Doran-Martinez said. And there are still a few booth spaces available, she said.

The expo will be held at Big Bend Community College's ATEC building Jan. 21. Businesses with booths can set up between 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. that day.

The event takes place from 4 to 7 p.m.

Doran-Martinez said some of the available booths are located inside the main room, while the others are located in the outside hallway.

This year's event has a tropical theme and many of the booths will be decorated to reflect that.

She said about 500 to 600 people are expected to attend the event this year. The expo gives business owners the chance to network with other business people, Doran-Martinez said.

"The goal of the expo is to give businesses that might not be big enough to host a Business After Hours some exposure," she said. "It's a great way to interact with a lot of potential customers and other business people who may be engaged speaking with somebody and go- I know somebody who has a solution for you."

The expo is a great marketing tool for businesses to share their message, products and services with other people, Doran-Martinez said.
