Lois Rene Townsend

Lois Rene Townsend, 87, a past Warden resident who farmed with her husband, Marlin Townsend, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2014 at 1:00 am at the Kaiser West Hospital in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 10, 2014 Kayser's Chapel of Memories, 831 S. Pioneer Way, Moses Lake. Burial and dedication of the grave will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Warden, Washington. Viewing will be from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, January 9th and from 9:00 a.m. to Noon on Friday, January 10th. She was born November 29, 1926 in Seattle, WA to Harold and Eva Habenicht.

Her death was preceded by her parents, Harold and Eva, her brother, Hal Habenicht, Marlin Townsend (husband), and Sherry (Townsend) Higgins, her daughter.

She left behind her daughters, Diana Lin Pixton and Marlene & Kelly Bird, her son, Hal Eugene Townsend, and son-in-law, Herb Higgins. She has 6 Grandchildren, Michelle, Heather, Brian, Jason, Janelle, Justin and 12 Great Grandchildren, Makenna, Michael, Julia, Gwynnie, Ellie, Gracie, Jacob, Eli, Mercy, Kizzy, Max and Avi. She loved them all and enjoyed every minute with them.
