NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF DETERMINATION OF NON-SIGNIFICANCE

The applicant is proposing to construct a new building to be used as a dry fertilizer storage and distribution hub on 11.23 acres in the Rural Light Industrial Zone.

Grant County has issued a Determination of Non-Significance (DNS) under the State Environmental Policy Act Rules (WAC Chapter 197-11) for the following project: The applicant is proposing to construct a new building to be used as a dry fertilizer storage and distribution hub on 11.23 acres in the Rural Light Industrial Zone. There is an existing building on-site being used for dry fertilizer storage. The new dry fertilizer storage hub will be approximately 45,671 square feet in size with elevators approximately 4,600 square feet in size. The property is located on Road 1.3 SE at the intersection of Road O SE. The site is located in the North 1/2 of Section 9, Township 18 North, Range 29 East, W.M., Grant County, WA. Parcel #s 18-0115-001, 18-0112-000, 18-0111-000, 18-0115-000, 18-0114-000 (parcels are in the process of being consolidated). After a review of a completed Environmental Checklist and other information on file with the Planning Department, Grant County has determined that this proposal does not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment as conditioned.
