Highway 17 closed between Moses Lake and Othello

MOSES LAKE — The State Patrol closed Highway 17 Tuesday morning between Moses Lake and Othello because of extreme icy conditions and multiple collisions.

The road is currently closed from Road M Southeast and Highway 262. Law enforcement advises drivers to avoid road travel in the area if possible. Crews are on scene of a semi-truck rollover about eight miles south of Moses Lake, blocking the road. The driver of the truck was not injured.

It is not known when the road will reopen. There are detours available.
