QUINCY - A Yakima man was injured after his vehicle struck a tree near Quincy Thursday.

Rolando F. Garcia, 34, was driving west on state Route 28 about 10 a.m. when he reportedly suffered a medical problem, drove his SUV across the center line and off the road on the eastbound shoulder and struck a tree, according to the State Patrol. The crash happened about 1.5 miles west of Quincy.

Garcia was transported by aid to Quincy Valley Medical Center, where he was treated and released. He was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

The State Patrol determined a medical issue caused the crash and Garcia was cited for driving with wheels off the road.
