NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Franklin County Commissioners are seeking applicants to fill one (1) vacancy on the Board of Equalization.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Franklin County Commissioners are seeking applicants to fill one (1) vacancy on the Board of Equalization. The BOE hears appeals brought by taxpayers on matters of valuation and exemption status for properties in Franklin County. Board members receive $75.00 compensation for each meeting day, plus mileage. Any adult who is a resident of Franklin County, who does not hold any elective office, and is not an employee of any elected official, is encouraged to apply. The application is available on-line at www.co.franklin.wa.us/Boards/ or by calling the County Commissioners’ office at 546-5856. Deadline for receiving applications is Monday, March 31, 2014.
