NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CHANGE/TRANSFER OF WATER RIGHT UNDER

ONE (1) GROUND WATER CERTIFICATE

TAKE NOTICE:

That Bigfork Orchards of Mattawa, WA, has made application for change/transfer of water right in order to irrigate additional acreage as granted under Ground Water Certificate No. G3-26346C.

That Certificate No. G3-26346C authorizes the withdrawal of 790 gallons per minute, 316 acre-feet per year from Feb. 1 to Nov. 30, each year, for seasonal irrigation of 79 acres.

That the authorized point of withdrawal is located within the SE1/4NE1/4SW1/4 of Sec. 10, T. 14 N., R.23 E.W.M.

That the authorized place of use is within the E1/2SW1/4 of Sec. 10, T. 14 N., R. 23 E.W.M., excepting the north 100 feet of the south 130 feet thereof.

That they propose to irrigate an additional 10 acres within the S1/2S1/2SE1/4NW1/4 of Sec. 10, T. 14 N., R. 23 E.W.M.

All within Grant County, Washington.

Protests or objections to approval of this application must include a detailed statement of the basis for objections; protests must be accompanied by a fifty-($50.00) dollar recording fee and filed with the Department of Ecology, at the address shown below, within thirty (30) days from March 4, 2014.
