Reader dislikes McCoy cartoons

Glenn McCoy's SOTU cartoon stating "This Guy Lied...." lacks humor and wit. If I were a Republican, I think I'd find it even less funny. However, I am not a Republican and am writing this letter to remind you that there are liberals in the area who would appreciate a nod on the Opinion Page occasionally. Freedom of speech gives you opportunity to publish as many right-wing points of view as you choose. It appears you choose to do this a lot!! In the old days, newspapers had an obligation to represent minority opinions at least some of the time.

I find Glenn McCoy's cartoons boorish. Any chance we can see some liberal humor from time to time?
