Wenatchee returns home, sweeps Soo Eagles

WENATCHEE - After a rough road trip to Fairbanks, the Wenatchee Wild returned to the Toyota Center and swept a two-game set with the Soo Eagles.
The Wild (24-19-6) won both games against the Eagles by a combined margin of 6-2.
"Overall, a good enough effort to win," head coach Bliss Littler said after Friday's win. "Chase (Perry) played very well for us tonight, we had our moments that I thought we were very good. Just looking for a full 60 (minutes) tomorrow, stack one good game on top of another."
Perry made 27 saves in the first game and held Soo scoreless until the final minute of regulation.
Jakob Ahlgren scored first for the Wild in the second period, while Troy Loggins and Nicholas Rivera added two goals in the third period as Wenatchee cruised to a 3-1 win.
Saturday resulted in an identical outcome as the Wild jumped out to a 3-0 lead before the Eagles scored in the third period.
Rivera and Loggins continued their strong weekend, each scoring in the second period. Brendan Harris also scored for Wenatchee.
Perry tallied another 13 saves.
"It was a good weekend for us," Littler said. "Goaltending for Chase (Perry) was very good, we moved the puck out of our own zone very well, we had good rushes, we did a good job of getting into offense and our special teams were very good. It was a good weekend."
Wenatchee will depart for the final time in the regular season to face Johnston Feb. 21 and 22.
