Dennis R. Fisher

Dennis R. Fisher, 66, longtime Moses Lake resident, died Sunday, February 9, 2014 in his daughter's home in Moses Lake, Wash. Dennis was born January 13, 1948 in Yakima, Wash.

Dennis attended school in Yakima and later attended Big Bend Community College where he became a certified welder. He retired from J.R. Simplot after many years of dedicated service. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hunting; especially spending time with his dear family at Oak Bay in Port Hadlock, Wash.

He is survived by his two daughters, Charlotte Caldwell and Michaela Fisher, both of Moses Lake, WA; grandchildren Justin West, Deborah West, David Chester, Dane Langshaw, Lucas Langshaw; step-grandchildren Kyleigh Sanchez, Courtney Pryor and Brooke Caldwell; one brother, Dan Fisher; two sisters, Jackie Amen and Eva Martinez; 7 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Dennis was preceded in death by his mother Doris Eldean (Summerfield) Moriarty and step-father Dwight Moriarty; one brother, Roger Fisher and one sister, Kelly Moriarty.

Dennis' family will meet later this Spring to celebrate and remember his life at one of his favorite places to spend time with his family, at Oak Bay in Port Hadlock, Wash. No local services will be held.
