Four masked gunmen rob market in George Thursday night

GEORGE — Police are seeking the public's help to find four masked gunmen who robbed Sandoval's Market in George Thursday night.

About 8 p.m., the four unknown men entered the store, forced the two clerks to hand over the store's cash and then tied them up, according to the sheriff's office. A customer who entered the store during the robbery was also tied up.

A black 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche seen outside the store at about the time of the robbery was found abandoned on Beverly Burke Road Southwest following the robbery. The vehicle was reported stolen out of the Tri-Cities.

Anyone with information or who saw any unusual people or vehicles in or near George Thursday night is asked to contact the sheriff's office at 509-762-1160, or send information to crimetips@co.grant.wa.us. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
