Susan Diane Simons

Susan Diane Simons, 63, longtime Moses Lake resident, died in her home, Wednesday, January29, 2014. She was born February 23, 1950 in Pendleton, OR to Jim and May (Harris) Faircloth.

She graduated from Pilot Rock High School, and later went to work for Simplot in Moses Lake, WA. She retired after 25 years of dedicated service. She enjoyed reading, fishing, camping, traveling, playing cards, trying her luck at the "Penny Slots" and loved her grandchildren. She loved attending church and was a longtime member of the Moses Lake Senior Center.

Susan was preceded in death by her mother, Mae Belle Faircloth, boyfriend Archie Timmerman an brother Edgar Faircloth.

She is survived by her father, Jim Faircloth; sisters Debbie Dunning, Cheryle Bacon, Melody Faircloth; brothers Jeff Faircloth and Bryan Faircloth; son Lance Simons; daughter Jamie Simons-Collins and son-in-law Terry Collins; grandchildren Zachary Simons, Cameron Collins, Bryce Collins, Latasha Collins, Stella Collins, all of Moses Lake, WA and many friends.

A Celebration of Susan's life gathering and potluck will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, February 8, 2014 in the Moses Lake Senior Center, 608 E. Third Ave., Moses Lake, WA. Please bring your favorite dish and memories of Susan to share with her friends and dear family.
