Larry W. Monesmith

1952-2014

Larry W. Monesmith, 62, a long time resident of Rock Island, Washington died on Friday, December 19, 2014. He passed away as a result of a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born to Elaine T. Monesmith and Albert F. Monesmith on August 28, 1952 in Wenatchee Washington. Larry was an excellent marksman and had a passion for guns and enjoyed building and fixing them. He enjoyed playing his guitar, reading books, gardening and working in the yard and helping his family and friends. He had the biggest heart and unforgettable sense of humor. He loved the country and western movies and enjoyed the simple things in life. His #1 priority in life was his family and providing for them and keeping them safe! Larry's last employment was as a Security officer and he was very proud of his services he provided.

Larry is survived by his mother, Elaine T. Monesmith of Rock Island, his two sister's, April Fox and Cynthia Moser and brother in law Ron Moser and sister in law Lana Monesmith all of Rock Island, his three daughter's Mariah Kreider of Rock Island, Amy Monesmith of Moses Lake and Amanda Monesmith of Rock Island, eight grandchildren, Ashley & Skyler Hoffer of Moses Lake, Spencer Ercanbrack of Portland, Treane Monesmith of Panorama City, Natasha Monesmith of Moses Lake, Andrea Mora Monesmith of Rock Island, Sara Kreider of Rock Island, Trevor Kreider of Rock Island, Reyes Junior Mora Monesmith of Rock Island and one great granddaughter, Addisyn Hoffer of Moses Lake, and several nieces and nephews and his dog Axle and several life long friends.

Larry is preceded in death by his father Albert F. Monesmith and his older brother Steve Monesmith.

Larry is laid to rest at Evergreen Memorial Park in East Wenatchee and per Larry's wishes, the family will hold a celebration of life party sometime in June 2015. The date, time and place to be announced at a later date.
