Husband allegedly shot by wife in Soap Lake

SOAP LAKE - A woman allegedly shot her husband in the stomach near Soap Lake.
About 2 p.m. on Tuesday, the Grant County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of a shooting in the 18300 block of Division .5 Road Northeast, near Soap Lake.
Upon arrival, deputies found a man who was shot in the stomach with a pistol.
According to sheriff's office spokesman Kyle Foreman, deputies are interviewing the man's wife.
The man was airlifted to Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee.
Foreman said the investigation into the shooting is ongoing. More information will be released at a later time.
