Stadshaug brings home two
Harold Stadshaug, a classmate from the Moses Lake High School Great Class of 1965 and now living in Yakima, fished the Pacific a few months ago and caught...well here is his side of the story:
We took our trailer to Cape Disappoint State Park at Ilwaco for a family camp out on my wife's side for a week during the first week of August.
My brother in law and I went out on a charter boat one morning. We used Sea Breeze Charters, and the boat was the Nauti-Lady. I think there were 15 of us, and the limit on Cohoes was two.
After surviving a rough ride over the bar, everyone on the boat limited and we were back at the docks in 3 1/2 hours. Most of the fish were between 17 and 25 inches. Mine were 21 and 23.
There were some kings caught, but all were native except one. I can't remember what the limit was on the Kings. I went with my wife's sisters husband, Howard Stidham from Puyallup.
Nice catch Harold. See you at the reunion.
