An angler enjoys time in the Great Outdoors
Virgil Redwine, right, and Bob Donahue fished out of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico with the Vivianas Sport Fishing Fleet on the Vivianas IV Charter. Virgil caught this large Wahoo during the trip. Oops, Tera Redwine, Virgil's wife, says Bob and Virgil caught the fish. The captain of the boat told them the fish would have been the winner of a Wahoo tournament the week before with a top prize of $25,000. Both anglers are members of the Dryside Fly Fishers of the Columbia Basin. A check of the internet shows the Wahoo is one of the fastest fish in the sea, being able to reach speeds of up to 60 mph.
Tera's big catch; following in the steps of Hemingway
What's an angler to do when the Columbia Basin weather turns cold and the fishing itch appears? Well, the angler could head to a steelhead stream and begin casting. Or the angler could head south to warm weather.

Caught this marlin on Monday Nov. 17 out of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico while fishing with the Vivianas Sport Fishing Fleet on the Vivianas IV Charter. This fish took 45 minutes to land. I fought it for the first 20 minutes and couldn't pull it in. Virgil had to help me out with the last 25 minutes. Just like on TV the fish jumped and turned out of water four or five times. What a rush. Marlin estimated to weight around 140 pounds.
