Rickie Schmidt

Rickie Schmidt of Moses Lake passed away Friday, Dec. 5th, 2014.

She is survived by her husband Raymond Schmidt of Moses Lake and five children: Richard and Kelly Schmidt of Moses Lake, Pam and Brian Erickson of Ferndale, Robert Schmidt and Christina Sortin of Moses Lake, Paula and Jerry Brasher of Puyallup, and Christian Schmidt of Moses Lake. She has ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She also has three sisters Darlene Kropf of California, Terrie Busbee of California, and Patty Stowell of Oregon.

Rickie is preceded in death by her parents: Richard and Margret Peterson and two sisters Mary Oranje and Fern Peterson.

Rickie was very active in making our community aware of our special needs children, especially the autistic children.

In lieu of a funeral service, the family will be having a celebration of her life in the spring of 2015.
