Maria J. Gonsalez

Maria J. Gonsalez, 72, a resident of Warden since 1960 passed away Friday, August 22, 2014 at home surrounded by those who loved her. Viewing will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, August 26th at Kayser's Chapel and from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 27th at Queen of All Saints. Holy Rosary will be prayed at 1:30 on Wed, August 27th at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Warden followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Maria was born August 24, 1941 to Eduardo and Hilaria Jalomo in Sinton, Tx. to a family of 8 siblings. Maria met and married her best friend Jose (Jimmy) Gonsalez on July 30, 1961 and shared 53 years of love and laughter with Jimmy. Work in agriculture lead Maria and Jimmy to Warden, Wa. where the decision was made to settle and raise a family. Maria was blessed with 7 children taking pride in raising her family and grandchildren. She found laughter and enjoyment in family gatherings, Loteria, cooking, attending church, crocheting, and was fond of an occasional trip to the casino.

Preceeded in death by:

-Eduardo & Hilaria Jalomo (Parents), Eduardo II. & Elifonso Jalomo (brothers), sister Rosalinda Medina and daughter Monica Gonsalez.

Survived by:

Husband Jose (Jimmy) Gonsalez Children: Daughters- Betty Gonsalez and Nelda (Rick) Elizalde; Sons- Joe (Lisa) Gonsalez, David Gonsalez, Jesse Gonsalez and Andy (Teresa) Gonsalez. Siblings: sisters Santa (Juan) Paez, Concepcion (Arturo) Lara, Dora (Beto) Mata and brothers Daniel (Frances) Jalomo, and Juan Jose (Lupe) Jalomo. Grandchildren: Stephanie Elizalde, Sara (Mark) Martinez, Stephen Elizalde, Jimmy Lee Wood, Tawnie Gonsalez, Juan Jose Gonsalez, Krystal (Jaime) Lopez, LeAndra (Levi) Rodelo, Chasity Gonsalez, Tanner Gonsalez, David Lee Gonsalez, Devin Gonsalez, Elijah Gonsalez and Edgar Ramirez. Great Grandchildren: Clinton (Pansi) Martinez, Jackson (Millionaire) Martinez, Dezarai Gonsalez, Izaya Gonsalez, Tysan Gonsalez, Daniel Garza and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Maria was a very loving wife, mother and caring grandmother. Words can not describe how much we love and will miss you. We will carry you in our hearts until we are reunited again.
