Ceramics class offered at Big Bend

MOSES LAKE - Big Bend Community College will offer a community education ceramics class beginning Sept. 17.
The class meets each Wednesday through Nov. 19, according to a press release from BBCC. The cost is $82, and class size is limited to 20 students.
Betty Johanson is the instructor. The class allows participants to use pottery and sculpture to "experiment and design in clay," the press release said. Students will work with a pottery wheel and other hand construction methods, as well as glazing and kiln firing.
