Our duty as voters

| August 22, 2014 6:00 AM

It is our duty to be well-educated voters! Public education no longer teaches the thinking of the men who wrote the United States Constitution, nor the changes in the language over more than 200 years. Schools do not teach the information from Congressman B. Carroll Reece's early 1950s Congressional investigation into the corruption of public education. Schools do not teach morality, respect for other people, or even self respect!

Tom Dent's wife asked if she could use my name for supporting him prior to my learning that Dani Bolyard was also entering the race. Both are very good candidates, and I shall be happy if either is elected. Each has unique qualifications.

It is our duty to decide which candidate will represent our views, has an excellent understanding of the original US Constitution, and the current US Constitution. Which candidate is most concerned with representing the people rather than becoming a gear in the political machines? Which candidate would help get the US Constitution corrected such that the United States Senators represent the interests of their State, and not their own political careers?

If you do not understand the corruption of our current State and Federal governments, then you are not well educated. If you have not read "The 5000 Year Leap" by Dr. Cleon Skousen that details the principles that underlay the US Constitution, then you are not well educated.
