Gorge Aerosmith concert is still on for Saturday

GEORGE — Live Nation General Manager Danny Wilde said contrary to media reports, the Aerosmith concert scheduled for Saturday at the Gorge Amphitheatre is still a go.

TMZ, a celebrity news web site, reported on Thursday that the band cancelled a Wednesday night show in Concord, Calif. and was planning to cancel Saturday's concert at The Gorge because drummer Joey Kramer had heart problems.

Live Nation stated that Kramer had a minor medical procedure earlier this week but is healthy enough to continue the "Let Rock Rule" tour. "I'm feeling better than ever and I'll be back sitting in the best seat in the house, hitting it harder than ever for our amazing fans," Kramer stated.

The rock band upset many central Washington fans when they cancelled a 1999 show at The Gorge Amphitheatre due to health issues from a band member. They were unable to reschedule that show.
