Jerry Eugene Conner

Jerry Eugene Conner, 72, a long-time Moses Lake resident passed away, July 31, 2014 at home. He was born in La Harpe, Kansas, on November 21, 1941 to Alfred and Evelyn Conner. After graduation from Moses Lake High School in 1960, he joined the U.S. Army. In the service, he learned to skydive and enjoyed the sport for many years. After his honorable discharge, he attended Big Bend Community College and then worked in Seattle. In 1967, he married Artis Ann Allen in Kirkland, Washington.

Most of Jerry's career was as an automotive parts manager in Seattle, Tri-Cities and Ephrata.

Many happy days of his youth were spent hunting and fishing in the Moses Lake area. Later, he shared his love of the outdoors with his children.

Jerry leaves a legacy of love, patience and understanding. He was a good man and will be missed by all who knew him.

Jerry was preceded in death by Artis Ann and by his parents. Survivors include: his siblings Max (Denise) Conner and Donnis (Phil) Alberts; his children Deborah Conner, Jeremy (Tammy) Conner and Joshua Conner; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Viewing will be held at 8:45 to 9:45 a.m., Wednesday, August 6th at Kayser's Chapel followed by funeral services at 10: a.m. Burial will follow at the Pioneer Memorial Gardens, Moses Lake.
