Duane Richard Terpstra

Duane went to be with the Lord July 26, 2014. Born in Minot, N.D. to Richard and Emma Terpstra, Feb. 23, 1933. He grew up in Snohomish County, married Dorothy Moir July 23, 1954. They had 3 daughters and a son. Duane was a loving husband and father. Most of his life was spent working in the woods and hauling logs. He was passionate about trucks and machinery. They moved to Soap Lake after retiring in 1997. Preceded in death by his son Kenneth James, Father and Mother, Richard and Emma Terpstra, sister Dorothy Erickson. Survived by his wife of 60 years Dorothy of Moses Lake, daughters Vicky Rosier of Spokane, Irene Grimm of Everett, Joanne and husband Jack Grout of Moses Lake. They have 9 grand children and 12 great grand children.

A memorial service will be held at First Nazarene August 10, 2014 at 3:00 pm.
