Moses Lake tennis falls to Wildcats

EAST WENATCHEE - The Chiefs girls and boys tennis teams lost to Eastmont in dual matches on Tuesday.

Both teams fell to 0-2 in the CBBN and 0-5 in dual matches.

"This is a match we thought we could win the doubles and steal a singles match, but EHS was very deep in the singles and we didn't get any traction," head coach Richard Gregoire said.

The boys' team was able to take two of the three doubles matches. The boys #2 doubles team of Chad Palmer and Ming Bowser won a lengthy match 6-7 (5-7), 6-2, 10-8. The #3 doubles team of James Zimmer and Vaughn Koreis won their match 6-1, 6-3.

  • #1 (doubles) Tyler Ward/Jace Hunt MLHS vs. Spencer Canada/Landon Martin 6-3, 6-7 (7-2), 0-6

The girls #1 doubles team of Carina LeFave and Kylee Mckay remained undefeated on the season and provided the only victory in the match.
