James Madison Ellis

| April 16, 2014 6:00 AM

James Madison Ellis (79), formally of Moses Lake, Washington died on Sunday March 9, 2014 at Indian River Medical Hospital in Vero Beach, Florida. Jim served his country in the U.S. Navy. After his retirement from military service, Jim was a member of the VFW, Eagles, and the Masonic Lodge. He loved camping, fishing, and the outdoors remaining active in these organizations and interests until failing health slowed him down. Jim's earthly remains were cremated. Jim's wish was that his ashes be cast upon the ocean. Typical of Jim, his request was that there be no formal services, although he leaves family and very dear friends to mourn his passing.
