Tax Day rally set for Tuesday in Moses Lake
MOSES LAKE - A Grant County conservative coalition is holding a "Tax Day Rally" Tuesday in Moses Lake.
The rally is from 3-6 p.m. at the Twin Towers Memorial at Civic Center Park at the corner of South Pioneer Way and Wheeler Road. The event is being held by United to Win, a coalition of Grant County political organizations including the Grant County/Moses Lake Tea Party Coalition, Grant County GOP, Republican Women of Grant County, the Grant County Republican Liberty Caucus as well as the Constitution Study Group. The coalition is dedicated to unifying conservative voters to support and elect Republican candidates both nationally and locally.
The rally includes vendor displays from conservative business owners as well as prizes, music and patriotic events.
Those in attendance will also have a chance to meet the GOP candidates for the upcoming election as well as other elected officials. Eighteen candidates and elected officials have confirmed they are attending, including Congressional candidates Janéa Holmquist Newbry, Clint Didier, Brad Peck, George Ciocotte, Jamie Wheeler and Dan Newhouse. Several local officials scheduled to attend include Prosecutor Angus Lee, Sheriff Tom Jones and district court Judge Tyson Hill.
