| April 11, 2014 7:00 AM

MOSES LAKE — Two drivers were killed in a collision Thursday night on state Route 17 about 10 miles north of Moses Lake.

Peggy A. Dubey, 58, of Moses Lake, was driving south in the northbound lane on SR 17 in a 1997 Mercury Villager about 10:30 p.m. when she collided head-on with a 2002 Saturn SL1 heading north, according to the State Patrol.

Dubey and the driver of the Saturn, Terri J. Vannoy, 42, of Ephrata, both died at the scene.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation but the State Patrol believes drugs or alcohol was a factor.
