Glenn Edwin Stewart

Glenn E. Stewart, age 84, of Moses Lake, Washington passed away at home on March 31st surrounded by family.

Glenn was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on July 30, 1929 to Ralph Stewart and Eva Vance Stewart. He attended Polytechnic High School in Long Beach California. He married his wife, Patricia, in Pasadena, California in 1947 and served in the US Army during the Korean conflict.

He and his family moved to Block 40 in Moses Lake in 1970 where he farmed and worked first for the Base Housing and later for the Big Bend Community College until retirement. Glenn enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with family.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Ralph and Eva; brother Harold; sisters Wanda and Ann and granddaughter Carley.

He is survived by Patricia Stewart of Arizona, daughter Janice Ohl (Thomas) of Arizona, son Vance of Arizona and son Randy (Kristine) of Moses Lake. He is also survived by grandchildren Joshua, Cameron, Cambria and Cheri as well as thirteen great grandchildren: Andrew, Sarah, Laura, Asher, Avery, Katelynn, Sorrell, Makayla, Carter, Zachary, Leanna, Rebecca and Natalie.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to hospice and all of the wonderful staff at Moses Lake Senior Living for the care they gave to Glenn during the last few of years of his life.

A private memorial will be held for Glenn in California at a later date.
