Billy Craig Pounds

Billy Craig Pounds, 57, of Moses Lake, died in his home, Sunday, March 30, 2014. Billy was born June 20, 1956 in Brownwood, Texas to Betty Joan Ramsey and Billy Gene Pounds.

He graduated from Tri-City High School in Myrtle Creek, Oregon. He worked as a welder and fabricator for various companies including Genie/Terex and in maintenance at J.R. Simplot. He enjoyed gold mining and prospecting, socializing with friends and attending Blues festivals. He especially liked working on and riding his Harley-Davidson; one treasured memory will be his trip to Sturgis, SD with special friend Wes.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jeffery Ray Pounds.

He is survived by one brother, D. Justin Graves, of Gaston, Oregon, and special friends Wes and Noelle Watkins, Chris Pleas of Moses Lake, WA, and all of his friends of the "Knights of the picnic table."

A Celebration of Billy Craig's life will be held beginning at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 12, 2014 in Ram's Ripple Tavern, 518 E. Wheeler Rd., Moses Lake, Wash.
