BEVERLY — Contractors working on the Wanapum Dam recently drilled six holes as part of the forensic examination of what caused the 65-foot crack to the spillway. Strong winds delayed earlier drilling plans.
Modifications to Wanapum's fish ladder will be done by April 15, in time to allow the Spring Chinook Salmon to safely pass, according to district engineers.
