Separate sealed proposals for the Construction of the Family Services of Grant County – Parking in Moses Lake, Washington as described in, and in conformance with the Bid Documents will be received by Family Services of Grant County, at the office of the Owner, located at 1402 Craig Street, Moses Lake, Washington, on October 8, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at which time the Bid Proposals will be recorded as to Time and Date received. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:00 pm.
Contracts are subject to “Davis Bacon” Federal prevailing wage rates and Washington State prevailing wage rates. The higher of the two shall apply.
Construction of a parking lot for Family Services of Grant County.
This project is an addition to the Facilities existing parking lot and modification to the rest of the owner’s lot. The additional paved area is approximately 13,600 square feet; the additional landscaped area is approximately 22,000 square feet. With curb, lighting, striping, fencing, landscaping and storm water management installed. There is no off-site work or utility re-routing. A portion of the existing parking lots curb will need to be modified to allow for the addition of the drive way. There are four sheds that need to be relocated within the site, the owner is completing that portion of the work themselves.
Proposals will be opened and publicly read aloud.
Estimate Construction cost $90,000 to $110,000.
Time for the project completion is 45 days.
A pre-bid walk-through will be conducted on site at 11:00 a.m. October 1, 2013. It is highly recommended all prospective bidders attend. Unscheduled visits to the Facility during bidding will not be allowed.
Bid Documents:
Bona fide General Contractors, with valid Washington State contractor’s license, may obtain one set of Bid Documents each from M. J. Neal Associates, Architects; upon written request addressed to M. J. Neal Associates, PO Box 1945, Wenatchee, WA 98807, and receipt of a
refundable deposit in the form of a check made payable to the M. J. Neal Associates,
Architects, PLLC in the amount of ($ 100.00). Major subcontractors (Electrical) may obtain
one set of documents. The deposit is refundable if returned in good condition within 10 days of bid date.
Electronically transferred, PDF copies of the bid Documents are available from the Architect upon request.
