Three from soap Lake injured him two-car crash

SOAP LAKE - Three soap Lake residents were injured on the morning of Sept. 9 when two cars collided on highway 28 one mile south of Salt Lake.

According to the Washington State Patrol, no drugs or alcohol were involved. All three victims were using their safety restraints.

The accident occurred when a vehicle driven by Norma D Tuetken, 43, of Soap Lake pulled in front of another vehicle at a stop sign, the State Patrol reported.

The State Patrol said Tuetken, northbound on Grant Street, had stopped in her 2004 Dodge Durango. But she pulled in front of a vehicle westbound on Highway 28, the WSP said.

That vehicle, a 1992 Ford F150 pickup, was driven by Steven N. Allen, 44, of Soap Lake. Tuetken was treated at the scene for her injuries. Allen was transported to Columbia Basin Hospital in Ephrata. Both vehicles were towed.

Also injured was Felicia A. Tuetken, 16, of Soap Lake, a passenger in the Tuetken vehicle. She was treated at the scene for her injuries.
