Juan Jesus Garcia

Juan Jesus Garcia, 22, of Soap Lake, WA; passed away too early in life on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 in Moses Lake, WA. He was born to Cheri May Cariveau on February 16, 1991 in Moses Lake, WA.

Juan spent most of his life growing up in the Soap Lake area. He attended schools in Soap Lake and Wilson Creek. Juan played basketball while attending Wilson Creek High school. He also received an award of excellence for being on the Honor Roll at Soap Lake Middle School. Juan completed his GED in 2011.

Juan worked a short time at the D&L foundry in Moses Lake.

Juan liked to play basketball, football, and enjoyed working out. He also loved music and spending time with all of his friends and family. Juan was wanting to start a family of his own. He was very loved by many people.

Juan is survived by his mother Cheri May Cariveau, his sisters; Chelsie (Samuel) Sanchez, Aaliyah Cariveau, Saphire Alfaro, Serenitee Alfaro, Leilani Alfaro; his brothers; Adrian (Amanda) Solano, Javier Nava, Jimmy Nava, and Yoni Nava; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was an Uncle to Camila Sanchez, Aurelia Solano, and another niece on the way. Juan is also survived by his grandma Dlorah Cushman and step-grandma Nonia Cariveau.

Juan is preceded in death by his grandpa, Richard Cariveau and two cousins; Michael Proper and Dale Wine.

Services will be held at the United Methodist Church, 117 C Street N.W. in Ephrata on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 1PM.
