TAKE NOTICE:

Lawrence Orchards & Lawrence Vineyards of Royal City, Washington have made an APPLICATION FOR CHANGE/TRANSFER of Water Right to change the place of use under Groundwater Permit G3-29405 to the Grant County Water Conservancy Board (Board). The Board has designated such application for active Board review assigning it a number of

GRAN-13-06. The Department of Ecology has assigned tracking number CG3-29405@2 to this application.

Be it known that Groundwater Permit G3-29405 currently has priority date of February 25, 1993, with a current authorization for 2500 gallons per minute, and 840 acre-feet per year, for seasonal irrigation and frost control of 240 acres.

The existing certificated place of use is: 205 acres within the SW1/4 and S1/2SE1/4 of Section 21, and 35 acres within the NE1/4, and that portion of the N1/2SE1/4 lying north of the irrigation district canal in Section 28, Township 17 North, Range 27 East, W.M., all in Grant County, Washington; lying within parcel numbers 161263000,161263001, 161284000, 161285000 and 161287000; all lying within WRIA 41.

The existing points of withdrawal are as follows: Well #1, located within NW1/4SW1/4 of Section 21, Township 17 North, Range 27 East, WM, Grant County, Washington; lying within parcel number 161263000, Well #2, located within N1/2SW1/4 of Section 21, Township 17 North, Range 27 East, WM, Grant County, Washington; lying within parcel number 161263000; all lying within WRIA 41.

The proposed place of use under this application is: 205 acres within the SW1/4 and S1/2SE1/4 of Section 21, and 67.09 acres within the NE1/4, and that portion of the N1/2SE1/4 lying north of the irrigation district canal in Section 28, Township 17 North, Range 27 East, W.M., all in Grant County, Washington; lying within parcel numbers 161263000,161263001, 161284000, 161285000 and 161287000; all lying within WRIA 41.

There will be no change in the instantaneous water withdrawal, annual volume, points of withdrawal, purpose of use, or period of use.

Any interested party may submit comments, objections, and other information to the Board regarding these applications. The comments and information may be submitted in writing or verbally at any public meeting of the Board held to discuss or decide on the application. Additionally, the Board will consider written comments or information provided within thirty (30) days from the last date of publication of this notice, said written comments or information to be provided to its office located 1021 West Broadway Street, Moses Lake, WA 98837.

Any protests or objections to the approval of this application may be filed with the Department of Ecology and must include a detailed statement of the basis for objections. Protests must be accompanied by a fifty dollar ($50.00) recording fee and filed with the Cashiering Section, State of Washington, Department of Ecology, PO Box 47611, Olympia WA 98504-7611 within thirty (30) days from September 24, 2013
