Raymond Rogers

| September 17, 2013 6:00 AM

Raymond Rogers, 71, of Warden WA, went to be with the Lord on August 30th, 2013 at the Spokane VA Hospital from his battle with cancer. A devout Christian, he was a member of the Othello Seventh Day Adventist church. He was a jack of all trades and worked at the Sunrise campground in Moses Lake as a maintenance man until he retired.

Ray spent his retired life on his property caring for his many animals and tinkering with various projects. Ray served in the Vietnam War in 1967 and !968 2nd Battallion, 12th and 1st Cavalry (The Thunderhorse) unit in some of the worst campaigns including the Tet Offensive. He was a true patriot and loved life, liberty and the ability to pursue happiness. He was a kind, gentle, and genrous man who loved his family and friends very much.

Everyone who truly knew Ray loved his goofy antics and easy going demeanor. He will be missed greatly.
