NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Franklin County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 9:15 am Pacific Standard Time in the Commissioners’ Meeting Room located in the Franklin County Courthouse at 1016 North 4th Avenue, Pasco, Washington, pursuant to RCW 57.28.070 to take public comment on Franklin County Fire Protection District No. 2 Resolution No. 4-2013, a petition for withdrawal of territory from the fire protection district legally described as:

Situated in Franklin County:

The south half of Section 31, all of Sections 29 and 32 TWP 11 N., RNG 33 E., Willamette Meridian (W.M.), along with portions of Sections 17, 20, 21, 28 and 33, TWP 11 N., RNG 33 E., Willamette Meridian (W.M.), more particularly described as follows:

Parcel No. 105240026, located in Section 17 and Section 20, TWP 11 N., RNG 33 E., Willamette Meridian (W.M.); lying south and west of Snake River Rd, except in the northeast corner of Section 17;

Parcel No. 105250051, located in Section 20 and Section 21, TWP 11 N., RNG 33 E., Willamette Meridian (W.M.), lying south and west of Snake River Rd;

Parcel No. 105256060, located in Section 21, TWP 11 N., RNG 33 E., Willamette Meridian (W.M.), lying west of Snake River Rd;

Parcel No. 105310021, located in Section 28, TWP 11 N., RNG 33 E., Willamette Meridian (W.M.), lying west of Snake River Rd;

Parcel No. 105310030, located in Section 28, TWP 11 N., RNG 33 E., Willamette Meridian (W.M.), lying west of Snake River Rd;

Parcel No. 105360021, located in Section 33, TWP 11 N., RNG 33 E., Willamette Meridian (W.M.), lying west of Snake River Rd; including portion of land lying south and east of said parcel and north and west of the Snake River in said Section 33;

All of Sections 34, 35 and 36 of TWP 11 N., RNG 32 E., W.M.;

All of Sections 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 of TWP 10 N., RNG 33 E., W.M., lying north and west of the Snake River;

All sections in TWP 10 N., RNG 32 E., W.M., lying north and west of the Snake River except Sections 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 18;

All of Sections 23, 24, 25, 26, 35 and 36 of TWP 10 N., RNG 31 E., W.M.,

All of Sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 18 of TWP 9 N., RNG 32 E., W.M., lying north and west of the Snake River;

All of Sections 1, 2, 11, 12, 13, 14, 23 and 24 of TWP 9 N., RNG 31 E., W.M., lying north and west of the Snake River.

Pursuant to RCW 57.28.080, any person may appear at the hearing and make objections to the withdrawal of the territory.
