Prinzen leads the way in Crescent Bar ladies golf

CRESCENT BAR -Carol Prinzen had the hot hand on Aug. 1 in Crescent Bar ladies golf, taking four spots.

Prinzen's haul started with a first division net victory with a score of 74. She was the division's closest to the hole winner with an effort of 38-2.5. Prinzen chipped in on hole No. 6, and was game of the day – low putts – winner.

Two players with notable days were Vickie Brissey and Wendy Smith. Both claimed two prizes.

Brissey won second division low gross with 111 and second division low net with 73. Smith took second division long putt at 8-8 and second division closest to the pin at 4-11.

Donna Ahearn was the first division low gross winner with 97. First division long putt ended in a tie between Cathy Jones and Patty McNaughton at 4-4.5.

Tressa Kleyn was a game of the day winner. Mary Woolverton birdied hole No. 5. Eileen Hoene chipped in on Hole No. 18.
