1 sent to Harborview in Othello wreck

OTHELLO - An Othello man was airlifted Sunday to Seattle's Harborview Medial Canter after a head-on collision four miles west of Othello.

Andres Alvaradoalamilla, 23, was listed Sunday in serious condition and staying in the intensive care unit, according to a Harborview spokesperson.

He reportedly drove a 1999 Chevrolet Astro van over the center line on state Route 24 and collided with an oncoming 2003 Cadillac CTS, driven by Hector A. Corona, 43, of Othello about 5 a.m. Sunday, according to the State Patrol. Corona was reported injured and taken to Confluence Health in Wenatchee. His passenger, Jose Z. Corona, 18, of Othello, was reported injured and taken to Othello Community Hospital in Othello.

Alvaradoalamilla was cited for crossing the center line and unsafe lane travel.
