Wendy Smith soars in Crescent Bar lady golf

CRESCENT BAR – Wendy Smith had a big day in Crescent Bar women's golf on August 27, appearing four times in the winner's circle.

Smith won second division gross with 120. She tied for second division net with 78. She took second division closest to the pin with 4-4, and won game of the day.

Donna Ahearn was a three-time winner. She took first division gross with 90 and first division net with 67. She tied Smith for first in game of the day.

Laurie Leahy tied Smith for second division net at 78.

In long putt competitions Cathy Jones won first division at 11-9, and Nadene Ward won second division at 4-1.

Chip-ins were scored by Wilma DeLeeuw on hole No. 6, Leahy on No. 6, Ward on No. 15, Eileen Hoene on No. 15 and Patty McNaughton on No. 10.
