Notice is hereby given that a Building Permit application and SEPA Checklist received by Grant County Planning on 08/30/13 from Horning Farms, (Designated Contact: Chris Knutson, P.O. Box 596, Quincy, WA 98848); and were found to be technically complete on 09/04/13.

Notice is hereby given that a Building Permit application and SEPA Checklist received by Grant County Planning on 08/30/13 from Horning Farms, (Designated Contact: Chris Knutson, P.O. Box 596, Quincy, WA 98848); and were found to be technically complete on 09/04/13.   Grant County expects to issue a Determination of Non-Significance for this proposal and the Optional DNS Process in WAC 197-11-355 is being used. This proposal may include mitigation measures under applicable codes, and the project review process may incorporate or require mitigation measures regardless of whether an EIS is prepared.  This may be the only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal and the proposed mitigation measures.  A copy of the subsequent threshold determination may be obtained upon request.  PROJECT: Phase 1: Construct an approximately 1,056 sq. ft. addition to an existing Ag equipment storage building. Phase 2: Includes an additional 7,500 sq. ft. Ag equipment storage building. ZONING: Agriculture CONSISTENCY STATEMENT:  This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with the Grant County Code, International Building Code and International Fire Code.  LOCATION: The subject site is located approximately three miles northeast of George, WA and one mile south of I-90 on Baseline Rd. W. In the NE quarter of Section 03, Township 18 North, Range 24 East, WM, Grant County, WA. (Parcel #20-1488-000). PUBLIC HEARING: None.  Copies of the application materials for File #13-5834 are available from Connor Lange, Assistant Planner at the Grant County Planning Department at 457 1st Ave NW, P.O. Box 37, Ephrata WA 98823, (509) 754-2011 extension 625; office hours are 8am – 12pm and 1pm – 5pm, Monday – Friday.  Comments must be submitted no later than 5pm on September 24, 2013 to the Planning Department.  All comments should be as specific as possible and may be mailed, hand delivered or sent by facsimile.  All persons, agencies or tribes have the right to comment, receive notice, participate in any hearings, request a copy of the final decision, and appeal the decision as provided by law and County Code.
