9-inch Big Cups tourney up next for Royal Golf course

ROYAL CITY - Scoring conditions will be ideal for the Big Cups Golf Tournament, set for Sept. 15 at the Royal Golf Course.

Birdies and pars should be easy, even for the shakiest of golfers, playing 9-inch holes, which are double normal size.

"This is the one you have all been waiting for," Pro Randy Peutz said. "Our first Big Cups tournament."

There will be individual scoring, with no handicap required. The entry fee will be $25 per player. That will cover the cost of the course and prizes. There will be a special honey pot.

"So get a group or enter as a solo," Peutz said. "Let us know as soon as possible."
