Erica Lyn Giraud

Erica Lyn Giraud, 39 of Quincy, Washington passed away suddenly October 13, 2013 at Quincy Valley Medical Center.

She was born in Ephrata on August 19, 1974. Erica attended school in Quincy and graduated from Quincy High School in 1993, she continued her education at Wenatchee Valley College and Central Washington University. Erica obtained a social services degree and her teaching certification in 1999, pursuing her dream job as a teacher and she truly adored her "kiddos".

She was passionate about family, the education system and her beloved cats.

She enjoyed traveling and her favorite vacation spot was "The world's most exciting city" Las Vegas, Nevada.

Erica may have been small in size but she had such a big personality and the confidence to take charge of any situation. Her love and legacy will live in the hearts of all that had the pleasure to know and adore her.

She was taken too soon and will be greatly missed.

Erica is survived by her parents, Mark and Arleen Giraud, Connie and Arlie Flippins, her brother Sean and Lynn Giraud and countless others who Erica considered family.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents August and Zoeanna Giraud and Ernest B. and Bertie Weber.

A celebration of Erica's life will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2013 from 11 AM - 3 PM at the George Community Hall, George, WA.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to your local animal shelter or to "Turner Syndrome Foundation Inc."
