Carol J. Williams

| October 25, 2013 6:00 AM

Life-long Moses Lake resident, Carol J. Williams, left behind the family she adored and entered into the presence of her Savior Jesus Christ on October 18, 2013. There she was greeted by many family and friends who had gone before her. Please sign the online guestbook or leave a note for the family at www.kayserschapel.com Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel & Crematory.

Carol was born on September 11, 1929 in Hunter, North Dakota and passed during the Hunter's Moon leaving behind children and grand children Nicci Warren, Sutun; Carolyn Palomar, Tyree, Hilary, Pablo, Jr. Andres; Scott Williams, Erick, Kara; Cindi Zayas, Jordan, Mattie, Aja and ten great grand children.

Carol was very supportive of her families' activities. She was always seen at sporting events, dance recitals, and anything that would cheer on her family. Family birthdays and holidays were a big event orchestrated by her. Long distance family was always included if only by phone. She lived her final years at home in the care of her children. Next to her children and her grandchildren her greatest love was her pets. Carol will always be remembered as a hard working devoted mother, grandmother and friend. Her family will always treasure the fact that she valued each and every one as though they were the most important in her life.

Carol worked hard all of her life to give her children what they needed and beyond. She made an abundance of friends at her various retail positions in Moses Lake throughout her life here. She retired from Nestle as a Sanitation Technician in 1991. While she was still able, she attended the Methodist Church. She was blessed with a beautiful voice and she and her sisters would often sing for family and special occasions.

Her family would like to thank her for all she instilled in us, and accepting and loving each one of us unconditionally throughout our lives. You will be greatly missed.

Carol also left behind her confidante Doris Buchmann, special friends Jeannie Gibbs Cook and Theresa Wheeler, and forever daughter in law Sherri Williams Osborne. She is also survived by her sisters Cora Bloom, Webster, South Dakota and Pat Spence, Milton Freewater, Oregon and nephews Steven and Craig Isitt, Walla Walla, Washington.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Erick and Maude Tetzloff, her sister Leona DeWinter, Stanley Gibbs, and Johnny Williams. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to be announced, and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Grant County Animal Shelter.

Death is Nothing at All

By: Canon Henry Scott-Holland

Death is nothing at all

I have only slipped away into the next room.

I am I and you are you.

Whatever we were to each other,

that we still are.

Call me by my old familiar name.

Speak to me in the easy way

which you always used.

Put no difference in your tone

wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.

Laugh as we always laughed

at the little jokes we enjoyed together.

Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.

let my name be ever the household word

that it always was.

Let it be spoken without affect,

without the trace of a shadow on it.

Life means all that it ever meant.

It is the same that it ever was.

There is absolutely unbroken continuity.

Why should I be out of mind

because I am out of sight?

I am waiting for you,

for an interval,

somewhere very near,

just around the corner,

All is well.
