Second half taxes due on Halloween

| October 24, 2013 6:00 AM

EPHRATA - Grant County Treasurer Darryl Pleasant reminds Grant County taxpayers that real, mobile home and personal property 2nd half taxes are due by Oct. 31.

If you are sending your payment by mail, he said, make sure your envelope is postmarked on or before Oct. 31 to avoid being considered delinquent. Verify that all parcels that you intend to pay were included on your statements, he said.

Pheasant urges you to send the bottom right side coupon of your statements if you are paying by mail for proper crediting. If you have more than one coupon, you may make one check for the total taxes.

A drop box is set up inside treasurer's office for those taxpayers who wish to drop off their tax payment and do not need a receipt. The office will be open through noontime from Oct. 21-31.

You may review information regarding your parcel on grantcountyweb.com. Click on Parcel Information to open TaxSifter.
