MATTAWA SCHOOL LEVY

To my community that cares enough to vote, in November there will be a ballot item that may continue or deny your children the things that help make a well-rounded community member.

I'm talking about their schools' maintenance and operation levy. This levy, at the same rate as the last one, helps your child have many things that other taxes don't pay for. For example your child may lose out participating in a sports program or taking a field trip for band or the sciences if it fails.

This levy, at $2.91 per $1,000 of assessed valuation, is an affordable price to pay to help our school keep your child active with school activities and not the other activities that make the police plotter.

If you care about our community, at least vote. Somebody has died for you to have that right. And if you care about our younger community members vote yes.
