ATS named top aerospace company in state

MOSES LAKE - Aviation Technical Services was named the Aerospace Company of the Year at the Governor's Aerospace Summit held earlier this month in Everett. The aircraft maintenance and repair company received the title this year for, "outstanding achievement and extraordinary leadership within the Aerospace Industry," according to an ATS statement.

"ATS has really become a partner in not only providing top-notch service to national and regional air carriers but also by developing talented aerospace professionals," Aerospace Futures Alliance Executive Director Linda Lanham said.

AFA hosts the summit each year.

ATS President and CEO Matt Yerbic said it was great to be recognized as company of the year.

"We are proud to support technical jobs within Washington and drive the growth of aerospace in this state and beyond," he said.

ATS provides maintenance, repair and overhaul services for commercial and military aircraft. They initially began operations in 1970.

The Everett-based company expanded to Moses Lake earlier this year. They occupy a 102,000 square-foot hangar at the Grant County International Airport, according to a previous Columbia Basin Herald article.
