Voth shares election platform

by Moses Lake City Council CandidateTodd Voth

Moses Lake is a great community that in past years has exceded the 20,000 population mark, which offers us the opportunity to attract businesses and franchises that would not normally look at communities of smaller size.

With industry such as manufacturing and processing, farming and local retail, our city has much to offer.

I want to be a part of positive growth and fresh new ideas and incentives that are not snarled by bureaucracy and micro management.

After serving the citizens of our community on the City of Moses Lake Planning Commission for six years I am up for the challenge.

I am a business owner and a life long resident of our great city and have raised my family here.

I want nothing more than to have my daughters and grandson enjoy the benefits of the same great city that my wife and I grew up in, and wish the same for our citizens.

I am certain that an honest and fair thought process on our council will be welcomed.

With budget shortfalls experienced by Moses Lake this past year we are forced to make some hard decisions, I will work hard and be an active part of the budget process.

The bottom line is simple, the foundation of our community is you the citizens.

You pay the fees and taxes that support our great city, and should have a voice.

I support the efforts of our police and fire departments and am endorsed by the fire department's local union.

I am running for Moses Lake city council position no. 4 and would appreciate your vote on Nov. 5.
