Angel Carranza Medina

Angel Carranza Medina was born December 5, 1952 in Mexicali Mexico to Angelina Carranza. In 1968, Angel left his home in the San Fernando Valley area and moved to Moses Lake, Washington to attend the Job Corps program. He soon met the love of his life, Linda Meza. Shortly after they returned to California and were married on November 27, 1971. They returned to Moses Lake to start their family.

Angel can be remembered for his love of old cars and listening to oldies. Angel couldn't wait every year for nice weather to come so he could go out and wash his truck. He loved watching his many grandkids play sports, and spending time with family during the holidays. He was especially close to and loved gatherings with his in laws.

Angel is proceeded in death by his sister Mary Ann Cerna, grandson Isiah, and nephew Joe Chavez.

Survivors include; his beautiful wife Linda Meza Medina of 42 years, his mother Angelina Carranza, five children, Angel (Vanessa), Monica, Gabriel (Claudia), Jerohl (Lisana), and Crystal (Andrew). Angel left behind 25 grandchildren, Karli, Gabriel, little Angel, Ezekiel, Elijah, Valerie, Dejia, Christian, Marcelina, Angelina, Alex Jr., Julian, Eli, Gabriel, Esai, Isaiah, Jazhel, D'Shauna, Kaleah, Nariah, Olivia, Aniyah, Alayah, Ayden, and Ayvian. Brothers, sisters, many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Friday October 11, 2013 at 11 AM at the Sendero Life Center, 2227 Peninsula Dr.

There will be a viewing from 9 to 11 AM with a reception following the service.
