Reader urges support for Mary Perry

I write to urge your support of candidate, Mary Perry, for the Moses Lake Irrigation Rehabilitation District.

Mary is the perfect person for a director's job. She is a person of great personal integrity and plain common sense. She will be able to make the wise decisions necessary to preserve and improve the lake so important to our community. Anyone who has been to an Irrigation meeting or has read newspaper accounts will recognize that wisdom and common sense are so necessary, but not always apparent.

Mary has a long history of being an active, effective member of our community, especially in children's activities such as swim team, where she and her family were so actively involved for many years.

I was fortunate to be able to work with Mary for over twenty years at Children's Services. Mary was always a firm, but friendly decision maker, able to make tough, not always popular decisions. She was hard working, respected, and well liked by fellow workers.

Your vote for Mary Perry would be a vote for wisdom, honesty and basic common sense decision-making. Please consider giving her your vote.
