Notice is hereby given that a Conditional Use Permit Application and SEPA Checklist were received by Grant County on 11/12/13 from Lakeview Golf Course, LLC (Contact: Columbia Northwest Engineering, 249 North Elder Street, Moses Lake, WA 98837); and was found to be technically complete on 11/22/13.

Notice is hereby given that a Conditional Use Permit Application and SEPA Checklist were received by Grant County on 11/12/13 from Lakeview Golf Course, LLC (Contact: Columbia Northwest Engineering, 249 North Elder Street, Moses Lake, WA 98837); and was found to be technically complete on 11/22/13. Grant County expects to issue a Determination of Non-Significance for this proposal and the Optional DNS Process in WAC 197-11-355 is being used. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal. A copy of the subsequent threshold determination may be obtained upon request.

PROJECT: The Lakeview Golf Course is proposing the following facility

improvements: relocation and improvement of electrical distribution; construct a new fairway restroom; refurbish existing fairway bathrooms; build a new shop building; construct an equipment wash area and outdoor above ground fuel storage area; demolish existing clubhouse, pro shop, and swimming pool; construct new clubhouse and recreation center including a new pro-shop, fitness center, and indoor swimming pool. LOCATION: The site address for

the project is 19547 NW Golf Club Road, Soap Lake, WA 98851, approximately one half mile west of SR 28. The project site is located in the west half of Section 25, Township 22 North, Range 26 East, W.M., Grant County, WA. Parcel #16-1010-002. ZONING: Urban Residential

2. PUBLIC HEARING: Hearings Examiner meeting is tentatively scheduled at 12:00

noon, January 8, 2014, in the Commissioners’ Hearing Room of the Grant County Courthouse in Ephrata, WA. CONSISTENCY STATEMENT: This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with the Grant County Code, International Building Code, and International Fire Code. Copies of the application materials (File #13-5857) are available from Tyler Lawrence at the Grant County Planning Department at 457 1st Ave. NW, P.O. Box 37, Ephrata WA 98823, (509) 754-2011 extension 620; office hours are 8am – 12pm and 1pm – 5pm, Monday – Friday. Comments must be submitted no later than 5:00pm December 16, 2013 to the Planning Department. All comments should be as specific as possible and may be mailed, hand delivered or sent by facsimile. All persons, agencies or tribes have the right to comment, receive notice, participate in any hearings, request a copy of the final decision, and appeal the decision as provided by law and County Code.
